Lauren Cloyd receives the March 2023 CMH TULIP Award

Lauren Cloyd received the March 2023 CMH TULIP Award. She is an endoscopy technician in Citizens Memorial Hospital’s Endoscopy Department.

Cloyd’s supervisor nominated her for the award.

“The dedication Lauren displays on a daily basis in regards to infection prevention and endoscopy scope processing is in a class of its own,” her supervisor wrote in the nomination. “The high standard of care she practices, teaches to co-workers and demands for our patient population make her a vital part of our team. Lauren displays altruistic behaviors toward her co-workers that reflect her genuine concern and caring she has for her work family's mental, emotional and physical health. Whether intentional or not, Lauren enriches the lives of those of us lucky enough to be around her.”

About the TULIP Award

Citizens Memorial Hospital/Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation created the TULIP Award in June 2021 to recognize outstanding caregivers who assist in direct patient care.

TULIP stands for Thoughtful, Unforgettable, Lasting Impact on Patient Care. The award committee selects one honoree each month.

The TULIP Award is given in conjunction with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing. Nominate a patient caregiver for the CMH TULIP Award.
