CMH welcomes additional counselor to pediatric clinic

Citizens Memorial Hospital and the CMH Pediatric Clinic in Bolivar welcome licensed professional counselor Nicole Twenter to the medical staff.

She joins Rachael Swopes, Ph.D., and Melissa Moores, LCSW, in providing behavioral health services at the clinic and to the Bolivar R-1 School District.

Twenter earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a Master of Science in clinical counseling from Central Methodist University, Fayette. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American Counselors Association of Missouri, Association of Counseling Sexology and Sexual Wellness and received a National Counseling Certification.

Twenter can help students with depression, anxiety, recent loss/grief and behavioral issues including aggression, defiance, hyperactivity, anger outbursts, cutting/suicidal ideations, substance use and bullying.

CMH Pediatric Clinic partners with the Bolivar R-1 School District to provide on-site counseling and therapy to students through 12th grade during regular school hours. Special arrangements can be made to schedule appointments during after-school hours and summer months.

Most major insurance plans are accepted and financial assistance is available. The counseling services provided are strictly confidential and adhere to state licensing regulations and HIPAA regulations. Private information will be shared only upon written authorization.
