CMH Foundation announces leadership changes

Tim Francka was named the administrative director of long-term care at Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation. He oversees all CMH Foundation long-term care, residential care and independent living facilities.

Also changing roles is Rachel Wilhite, RN, director of long-term care nursing operations. In her new role, she will support nursing practice and operations in all CMH Foundation long-term care facilities.

“In his new role, Tim is working with each long-term care facility administrator to ensure a culture of quality care and exceptional services is instilled in each of our facilities,” said Calhoun.

Francka previously was the administrator of Parkview Health Care Facility and the administrative director of long-term care for the east side of CMH’s service area. Over his 35 years of working at CMH, he has served as the assistant director and director of human resources, and administrator of Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility and Parkview Health Care Facility in Bolivar.

Francka holds a Bachelor of Science in finance and general business from Missouri State University, Springfield. He has been a licensed nursing home administrator since 1991. Francka serves on many state and national boards and committees. He currently is the vice chairperson of the Missouri State University Board of Governors. He also is a member of the Missouri Health Care Association board of directors and the Council of States delegate for the American Health Care Association. Francka is a member of the Missouri League of Nursing Home Administrators and other advisory boards.

Rachel Wilhite, RN

“In Rachel’s new role, she is responsible for overseeing processes to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality resident care and providing oversight for ongoing professional development of our nursing leadership team and nursing staff,” said Calhoun.

Wilhite has 28 years of long-term care experience. She previously was the director of nursing at Parkview Health Care Facility for eight years. She has 17 years of director of nursing experience working at several skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the region.

Wilhite received her licensed practical nursing education from Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Southwest Baptist University’s St. John’s School of Nursing, Springfield. Wilhite is board-certified in gerontological nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a licensed nursing home administrator. She is also a certified wound care professional, an infection preventionist, and a credentialed certified nursing assistant instructor through the Department of Health and Senior Services.
