Scholarships

At Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation, we support the educational goals of local students. We aim to help talented people in our community succeed in their studies. The Foundation offers three scholarships:

  • Medical Excellence High School Scholarship
  • Medical Excellence College Program
  • Club 1982 Scholarship

Medical Excellence Fund

The CMH Foundation established the Medical Excellence Scholarship in 1990. The scholarship fund helps students from CMH’s service area. It provides support for those getting degrees or certifications in medical careers. The Annual CMH Foundation Medical Excellence Golf Classic raises money for the scholarship.

CMH offers two types of scholarships within the Medical Excellence Scholarship program.

Medical Excellence High School Scholarship

The Medical Excellence High School Scholarship is for high school seniors. They must be from the CMH service area interested in working in the medical field. The one-time scholarship does not include a requirement to work at CMH after graduation.

Medical Excellence College Program

The Medical Excellence College Program is for college students who have been accepted into a healthcare-related degree program. The Program award includes a requirement to work at CMH after graduation. You may qualify for more than one year of financial assistance.

Club 1982 Employee, Children and Grandchildren Scholarship

The Club 1982 Scholarship assists employees and their children or grandchildren. It’s designed for individuals seeking to advance their education or acquire a trade. Our employees are the backbone of providing compassionate care at CMH. We want to invest back into them and their families for their dedication to our organization. Donations to the Club 1982 employee giving program fund the scholarship.
