Summer Kellogg receives August 2026 CMH TULIP Award
Summer Kellogg, a behavioral health clerk at Bolivar Family Care Center, received the August 2026 CMH TULIP Award.
Kellogg was nominated by a coworker who praised her for providing thoughtful, compassionate care and making patients feel seen, heard and valued, particularly during difficult times in their lives.
The nomination highlighted Kellogg’s ability to treat every patient with kindness, dignity and respect, while offering encouragement and support without judgment.
One patient shared with the nominator how much it meant when Kellogg recognized her and greeted her by name. The patient explained that she often felt invisible or overlooked, but Kellogg’s simple gesture made her feel remembered and important.
Kellogg’s compassion extends to her coworkers. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and contributes to a positive, supportive environment for patients and staff.
Her genuine care for others and commitment to compassionate care reflect the mission, vision and values of Citizens Memorial Hospital.
