58 teams compete in 35th annual CMH Golf Classic
Fifty-eight teams participated in the 35th annual Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation Medical Excellence Golf Classic, presented by SGC Foodservice. The tournament was held June 5 at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bolivar.
The 18-hole, four-person scramble raises money for CMH’s Medical Excellence Scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to individuals in CMH’s eight-county service area who are pursuing careers in health care.
“Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, players and the staff at Silo Ridge who made the event a huge success,” said Tara Akins, CMH director of community relations and development. “It was a fun day of golf to support future medical professionals in our communities.”
