CMH honors Bonners and Martin with Hutcheson Awards

Citizens Memorial Hospital recently recognized Auxiliary volunteers Henry and Beverly Bonner and Rosanne Martin as recipients of the 2023 Lillian Hutcheson Award during the Auxiliary’s quarterly meeting.

Each year, the CMH Auxiliary presents the Lillian Hutcheson Award to an outstanding volunteer who demonstrates commitment, dedication and compassion to patients, residents and the organization. The award is named in honor of Lillian Hutcheson, who founded the Auxiliary program before CMH opened in 1982.

The Bonners have been volunteering with CMH since 2013, donating 15,862 hours. They are an integral part of helping run the Tremain House and both serve on the CMH Auxiliary Board. They also volunteer in the Gift Garden, Senior Health Center and Douglas Medical Center.
