CMH to host health fair Friday, Aug. 12

Citizens Memorial Hospital is getting the community “Back on Track” with a health fair scheduled Friday, Aug. 12, 7:30-11 a.m. in the CMH Community Rooms, 1500 N. Oakland Ave., Bolivar.

The event will include a variety of screenings and information with representatives from several Citizens Memorial Hospital clinics and departments including: Addiction Recovery Program; Allergy Clinic; Breast Care Center; Butterfield Park Medical Center; Cardiac Rehab; Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center; Dermatology Clinic; Emergency Department; Endocrinology Center; Eye Specialty Center; Gastroenterology Clinic; Long-Term Care; Heart Team; Home Care Services; Information Systems; OB/GYN Clinic; Orthopedic & Spine Center; Parkview Geriatric Wellness; Pediatric Clinic; Recruiting; Research; Senior Health Center; Stephens Pharmacy; Urology Surgical Clinic; Volunteer Services; Walk-In Clinic; Willard Medical Center; Wound Clinic and more.

Other organizations attending are Alpha House, Bolivar Fire Department, Bolivar Parks and Recreation, Bolivar Police Department, Central Care Cancer Center, Children’s Division, Dallas County Parents as Teachers, Miles for Smiles, Missouri CLAIM, Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC), Polk County Health Center, and the Polk County Library.

CMH will offer discounted blood tests: Lipid Panel ($25); Blood CMP ($20); TSH/Free T4 ($30); CBC ($15); Pt/INR Screening ($20); and Hgb A1C Screening ($20). For more accurate results, please fast before your blood draw.

Refreshments will be served and door prizes provided.
