Long-term care facilities in District IV select candidates to compete for queen each year. This is the second year the event was held virtually. There were four final contestants that were interviewed via Zoom call. The resident with the most points after their interview was crowned queen.

“The MHCA Ms. Nursing Home Pageant is truly a special event that showcases and honors the life stories and unique talents of residents,” said Tammie Callaway, BRCC administrator. “We are thrilled Claudine had the opportunity to participate in this event. Her positive attitude and fun-loving personality are a blessing to all those who know her.  All of us at Butterfield wish her the best of luck as she continues to the state level competition in September.”
