CMH long-term care facilities to host drive-by parades
Colonial Springs Healthcare Center (CSHCC), Buffalo, and Community Springs Healthcare Facility (CSHCF), El Dorado Springs, will be hosting drive-by parades for its residents Saturday, May 9.

Both facilities are owned and operated by Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation, Bolivar.
Colonial Springs’ parade will begin at 1 p.m. with vehicles lining-up at Grace Community Methodist Church, 1652 S. Ash St., Buffalo, at 12:45 p.m., weather permitting. The mothers of Colonial Springs will be seated around the front driveway in honor of Mother’s Day.
This is Colonial Springs’ second drive-by parade. Their first parade was held April 27 and more than 100 vehicles participated in the 40-minute parade. Watch highlights of the parade at https://youtu.be/PikZQvW8ppw.
Community Springs’ parade will begin at 3 p.m. with vehicles lining up at the Church of God Holiness, 1607 S. Park St., El Dorado Springs between 2-2:30 p.m. The residents will be seated around the front driveway to watch the parade.
Family and friends who are participating in either parade are encouraged to RSVP by May 8 to ensure their loved ones are present at the parades.
