CMH gastroenterologist earns board certification

Ryan E. Denney, D.O., gastroenterologist with Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) Gastroenterology Clinic in Bolivar, has earned board certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialty of Gastroenterology.

Ryan Denney, DO

Dr. Denney became board certified in Internal Medicine in 2015. In order to become board certified in gastroenterology, Dr. Denney had to complete three years of training in gastroenterology, be a member in good standing of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), adhere to the AOA Code of Ethics, and successfully complete a seven hour written examination.

A graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Kansas City, Dr. Denney completed a residency in internal medicine at Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute, St. Petersburg, Florida. He is fellowship trained in gastroenterology at Hackensack UMC Palisades, North Bergen, New Jersey.

Dr. Denney joined the CMH medical staff in August 2018. His medical practice includes diseases affecting the gastrointestinal tract, colon cancer screening, acid reflux, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic liver disease, Cdiff, and more.

The CMH Gastroenterology Clinic is located in the Kerry and Synda Douglas Medical Center, 1155 W. Parkview St., Suite 1G, Bolivar. Dr. Denney is accepting new patients.
