CMH offers monthly Parkinson’s Support Group on April 17

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) will host their next Parkinson’s Support Group on Tuesday, April 17 at noon in the conference room located on the first floor of the Kerry and Synda Douglas Medical Center, located at 1155 W. Parkview St., Bolivar.

Springfield Pottery will present and bring their mobile outreach program. Research has shown that working with clay as a medium can be a beneficial coping mechanism for those with Parkinson’s disease. The program will be free of charge, but reservations are requested.

The Parkinson’s Support Group is typically scheduled every third Tuesday of each month, and is open to anyone who has been affected by Parkinson’s. Information and support are provided at each group session.
