“My Goofy Movement” camp is a week-long event for students in sixth through eighth grade who desire to improve their overall athleticism and movement quality.  There will be daily exercise programs focused on proper body movement and how to improve their flexibility, running, strength and agility. Each participant will undergo an individualized movement assessment by CMH athletic trainers to determine their strengths and weaknesses. There will also be daily discussions on nutritional and healthy life choices.

“Middle school athletes should learn to train in a way that is appropriate for their age and physical capacity,” says Morgan Simpson, AT, director of CMH Sports Medicine Center. “At camp, we’ll teach students how to master movement and mechanics and develop the necessary skills that will help them become stronger athletes.”

Reservations are requested. For more information, call the CMH Sports Medicine Center, at 417-777-7763 or facebook.com/CMH-Sports-Medicine-675789072511324/.
