Douglas will join Ash Grove Family Medical Center on Sept. 18. He joins board certified family medicine physician Malcolm B. Oliver, M.D., and nurse practitioner Toni Hudson, FNP-BC. Douglas previously worked for Ozarks Community Hospital, Springfield, Mo., for five years in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care Clinic, and Primary Care Clinic.

Douglas earned a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and a master of science nursing (family nurse practitioner) from the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg. He has experience in family practice, minor office procedures, and preventative medicine, and can see patients of all ages. Douglas is a certified Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examiner, and is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Douglas is accepting new patients. The clinic accepts most major insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid. For more information and to schedule an appointment with Douglas, call 417-751-2100.
