CMH orthopaedic surgeon earns board certification

Jonathan Gray, D.O., orthopaedic surgeon with Parkview Orthopaedic Clinic in Bolivar, has earned board certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (AOBOS).

Dr. Gray joined the Citizens Memorial Hospital medical staff in August 2014. His practice includes total hip replacement including the direct anterior approach, total knee replacement, fracture care, knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy, nerve decompression, rotator cuff repair, and ACL reconstruction and other orthopaedic procedures.

To receive board certification from AOBOS, Dr. Gray met educational, evaluation, and examination requirements.

Gray attended medical school at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his internship and osteopathic orthopaedic surgery residency at Oklahoma State University-Saint Anthony’s Hospital. Dr. Gray has additional training in the direct anterior approach to total hip replacement, an alternative to conventional hip replacement surgery.
