- 640 tons of reinforced steel in the concrete. Roughly the weight of three Statues of Liberty.
- 8,444 cu yd, or 33.77 million lbs, of concrete. Enough to fill a football field, including the end zones, nearly 4 ft thick.
- 953 concrete truck deliveries covering 4,955 miles, equal to driving from Miami, Florida, to Anchorage, Alaska.

Groundbreaking Ceremony
CMH held a groundbreaking ceremony for the hospital expansion on Sept. 28, 2023 — 41 years after the hospital opened on Sept. 28, 1982. Dignitaries, hospital leaders and community members celebrated the upcoming hospital expansion with a ceremonial dirt turning on the construction site.
