CMH hosts free men’s health webinar on new treatment for BPH

Citizens Memorial Hospital will host a free online men’s health seminar at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The webinar will be presented by board-certified urologist Mark Walterskirchen, M.D., with the CMH Urology Surgical Clinic in Bolivar.

The seminar will focus on Aquablation® therapy, a new minimally invasive treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or enlarged prostate. BPH affects most men over 50 and can cause frequent urination, weak stream, urgency or incomplete bladder emptying.

CMH is one of the first hospitals in the area to offer Aquablation therapy, which uses a robotically controlled waterjet to remove excess prostate tissue without heat.

Attendees can watch live, ask questions privately and learn from the comfort of their homes. Partners and guests are welcome.

Registration is required. To sign up or for more information, visit cmhbolivar.info/Webinar1112.

The CMH Urology Surgical Clinic is located in the Kerry & Synda Douglas Medical Center, 1155 W. Parkview St., Suite 2C, Bolivar. For more information, call 417-326-2550.
