Shelby Bailey, family nurse practitioner, joins CMH medical staff
Citizens Memorial Hospital welcomes Shelby Bailey, FNP-C, to the new CMH Health & Wellness Clinic.
Bailey earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Science in Nursing (family nurse practitioner) from Maryville University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Bailey has extensive experience as a family nurse practitioner in a variety of care settings. She previously worked as a family nurse practitioner hospitalist at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Most recently, she worked in a critical access hospital as a locum tenen family nurse practitioner hospitalist in Iowa.
Bailey will care for patients at the new CMH Health & Wellness Clinic in Bolivar. The clinic serves as a resource for individuals without a primary care home.
Specifically, the clinic provides Medicare annual wellness visits for patients lacking a primary care provider and provides hospital transitional care services to patients discharged from inpatient care or the emergency department who require ongoing medical support.
The CMH Health & Wellness Clinic is located at 2520 S. Springfield Ave., Suite A, in Bolivar.
