CMH nurse wins state health care essay

Michelle Jenkins, LPN, a nurse at Butterfield Residential Care Center (BRCC), a Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation residential care center, received first place in the annual Missouri Health Care Association (MHCA) essay contest.

Her essay “How Helping our Residents Has Helped Me!” was judged by an independent panel and awarded first place based on criteria set by MHCA.

Jenkins also won the essay contest in 2007.  She will receive a plaque and will be recognized at the 68th Annual MHCA Convention on Aug. 29, 2016.
