Matthew Ericksen, D.O., is an otolaryngologist. He attended medical school at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Glendale, Ariz. Dr. Ericksen completed an internship and residency in otolaryngology, head, neck and facial plastic surgery at Oklahoma State University, Freeman Healthy System in Joplin, Mo., and a fellowship in rhinology and skull base surgery from St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston, Mass. He is a member of several medical societies, including the American Rhinologic Society, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Osteopathic Association, and American Medical Association.

Dr. Ericksen specializes in adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat issues including sinus issues, sleep apnea and nasal obstruction, head and neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, facial fractures, and hearing testing and treatment. He begins his practice on Aug. 2 at CMH ENT Clinic, located in the Kerry and Synda Douglas Medical Center, in Bolivar. Abhishek Kumar, M.D., is an oncologist and hematologist. Dr. Kumar attended medical school at the University of Delhi, Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, India. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Paterson, N.J., and a fellowship in hematology oncology at Seton Hall University, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Paterson, N.J., and another fellowship in hematology oncology at New York Medical College, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Paterson, N.J. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kumar is the author of numerous journal articles, and is a member of several medical societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the American Medical Association. His practice includes diagnosis, treatment and management of all cancer types including blood disorders, leukemias and lymphomas with special interests in neuro-oncology and gastrointestinal oncology. Dr. Kumar joined board certified medical oncologist/hematologist Leo Shunyakov, M.D., and board certified radiation oncologist Garry Brown, D.O., at Central Care Cancer Center, located in the Carrie J.
