Family Practice Openings

We are looking for family practice physicians for our Dallas County and Ash Grove clinics. Both clinics are located in NHSC services areas and the family practice physicians may qualify for loan repayment under that program. 

The Dallas County clinic is located in Buffalo, Missouri. Buffalo is located 18 miles east of Bolivar and 30 miles northeast of Springfield. We are seeking to fill a vacancy that will be created this summer. There is one other family practice physician and two nurse practitioners at the clinic. The clinic has a high volume and we are seeking someone to step into this established practice. The ideal candidate will do inpatient, outpatient, ob and nursing home rounds. The family practice physicians at the clinic have historically performed many procedures, including colonoscopy, LEEP, skin lesion removal, suturing, joint injections, circumcisions, NSTs, and vasectomies. 

The second opportunity is in Ash Grove, Missouri (population 1430). Ash Grove is located approximately 17 miles northwest of Springfield, Missouri (population 150,000 in the city, 430,000 in the metropolitan area). The clinic is adjacent to a long term care facility and a pharmacy. The community supports the clinic and there is a lot of potential for growth in the patient volume. The family practice physician would not be required to do inpatient medicine, but the opportunity to do nursing home rounds is available.
