CMH transfers home health and hospice services to CMH Foundation
On Oct. 1, 2013, Citizens Memorial Home Health and Citizens Memorial Hospice will be owned by Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation. This will effectively transfer ownership of these services from Citizens Memorial Hospital. The two services will continue to operate under their original names and will continue to provide high quality care services.
“This change in ownership is simply a strategic move to align all post-acute services under one entity,” says Donald J. Babb, chief executive officer/executive director of CMH.
Citizens Memorial Home Health will continue to provide care in Benton, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Hickory, St. Clair, northern Greene, and Polk Counties. Citizens Memorial Hospice will continue to provide care in Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Hickory, St. Clair, northern Greene and Polk Counties.
