CMH announces new location for Stockton clinic and services
Plans for one location for all CMH services in Stockton
Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH) announces plans to consolidate all Stockton clinic and support services into one convenient location. CMH is currently remodeling a former church located at 1521 S. 3rd Street in Stockton. The new facility is scheduled to open late summer 2011.
“This new facility will be very convenient for our patients,” says Donald J. Babb, chief executive officer/executive director of CMH. “We will have more space for our clinic and relocating our home medical equipment and rehabilitation services to the same facility will allow our patients to have all the services under one roof. Additionally, we are able to expand our service offerings to include cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.”
The facility will have more than 12,000 sq. feet of space on two levels. The upper level will include the clinic offices of Dennis Boeke, D.O., Steven Butcher, D.O. and Kim Miller, nurse practioner at Stockton Family Medical Center. The clinic will feature eight treatment rooms, laboratory, X-ray and offer counseling services.
The lower level will include Stockton Rehabilitation Clinic and Stockton Home Medical Equipment. A new service offered at the facility will be phase III cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation. Phase III is a supervised exercise program whereby individuals learn to self-manage their overall cardiovascular health. It is designed for those with known risk factors, for those with existing heart problems, or for those simply wishing to improve their level of cardiovascular fitness.
