Stockton Nursing Home, Inc. merges with Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation Sept. 1
New name is Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility
Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH) board of directors and Donald J. Babb, chief executive officer/executive director of CMH announce the merger of Stockton Nursing Home (SNH), Inc., with CMH Foundation on Sept. 1, 2011. The new name of Stockton Nursing Home, Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility, is the sixth long-term care facility operated by CMH.
Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility is a 75-bed Medicare- and Medicaid-certified skilled nursing care facility. It also offers a special care unit for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services including physical, occupational and speech therapy, and a 37-bed assisted living unit. The administrator is Kevin Costello.
“Working with Kevin and the employees and residents of Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility the last several weeks during this time of transition has been wonderful,” says Babb. “It is obvious that everyone works together as a team and that is the culture of CMH. The partnership is outstanding.”
CMH operates six long-term care facilities in the following locations: Ash Grove Healthcare Facility, Ash Grove; Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, Bolivar; Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, Buffalo; Community Springs Healthcare Facility, El Dorado Springs; Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility, Stockton; and Parkview Healthcare Facility, Bolivar. CMH also operates one residential care facility, Butterfield Residential Care Center, Bolivar.
