Karen Lemesany to receive hospital employee scholarship

Donald J. Babb, chief executive officer/executive director at Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH), is pleased to announce that Karen Lemesany, health information management clerk at CMH, has been awarded the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA) Center for Education Missouri Hospital Employee Scholarship.

MHA received 1,762 applications from hospital employees statewide. Lemesany was one of 188 hospital employees randomly selected to receive this $4,000 scholarship and the only CMH employee. She is pursuing an associate’s degree in health information technology from Ozarks Technical Community College.

Lemesany has worked at CMH for six years. She lives in Polk, Mo., with her husband, Reid, and daughter, Stacie.
