Colonial Springs Healthcare Center deficiency free
The Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH) Foundation Board of Directors congratulates the staff and administration at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center in Buffalo, for being deficiency free as surveyed by the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). The survey was completed Sept. 6, 2011.
DHSS complete a minimum of two comprehensive, unannounced inspections on an annual basis per long-term care facility. Surveyors review all clinical areas, building maintenance, resident care, safety codes, qualifications and certifications, care planning, food handling, cleanliness and infection control, activities and therapies and resident satisfaction. A deficiency free survey means that Colonial Springs Healthcare Center has far exceeded all survey standards and criteria.
Colonial Springs is a Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled-nursing care facility offering short and long-term stays, inpatient and outpatient therapies, transitional care, managed care, Alzheimer’s special care unit and Independent Living apartments for those seniors with a more active lifestyle.
