CMH occupational therapist receives national certification specializing in hand therapy
Suzi Dieckhaus, OTR/L, MOT, CLT, CHT, occupational therapist with Citizens Memorial Healthcare, has received certification in hand therapy from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, a national accrediting organization.
In addition to passing the national exam, a certified hand therapist has a minimum of five years of experience in the clinic setting, as well as 4,000 hours of work directly associated with hand therapy. Nationwide, only 100 people have passed the exam.
