Citizens Memorial Healthcare celebrates National Athletic Training month
Recognizing certified athletic trainers
During the month of March, Citizens Memorial Healthcare is celebrating National Athletic Training month. This recognition honors certified athletic trainers across the nation for their commitment in providing professional health care services to patients in hospitals, colleges, high schools, professional sports, the military, corporations, physician offices and clinics.
The certified athletic trainers at the CMH Sports Medicine Center located on the Southwest Baptist University campus at 1600 University Ave., Bolivar, are licensed health care professionals that provide physical rehabilitation, injury evaluations and injury prevention services. Athletic trainers can also be seen at the area high schools and SBU sporting events providing care to injured athletes. Their professional services are not only intended for the high school and college athletes, but also to recreational athletes of any age that may be having pain or discomfort with their recreational activity.
For more information about the CMH Sports Medicine Center or to schedule an appointment to see a licensed athletic trainer, call 417-777-7763 or visit the CMH Sports Medicine Center page.
