Christie Evans earns CCRN certification
Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH) is pleased to announce that Christie Evans, intensive care unit nurse, recently received Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification after successfully completing the national recognized exam for nurses who provide direct bedside care to acutely and/or critically ill patients.
CCRN certification is greatly recognized as one of the highest professional credentials achieved by a nurse in the field of acute and critical care. The recipient of the CCRN certification is characterized by an advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in the care of acutely and critically ill patients and their families. Also, the CCRN designation signals that the individual has been acknowledged by their peers as being superior in the critical care nursing profession. Currently, there are more than 60,000 CCRN-certified nurses world-wide, each specializing in the care of adult, pediatric and/or neonatal patients.
Evans has worked as an RN in the ICU at CMH since August 2010.
