Orthopaedics
Orthopaedics is the medical specialty focusing on the musculo-skeletal system, which includes bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles and nerves. Our orthopaedic staff provides a wide-range of services to our community, from the treatment of sports related injuries to orthopaedic diseases, like arthritis. Patients often receive a comprehensive treatment plan with medication, exercise and/or surgery. Our orthpaedists practice at the Parkview Orthopaedic Clinic and perform surgeries at the Ambulatory Surgical Center. We have several orthopaedists that specialize in specific areas.
Orthopaedic Specialties:
- Sports Medicine
- Foot and Ankle
- Shoulder
- Knee and Hip
- Hand
Our orthopaedic clinics work closely with our rehabilitation clinics to help patients restore movement, strength and function. Physical therapy may be prescribed as a treatment option for certain musculo-skeletal diseases and injuries. Therapy is often prescribed after surgery as part of the recovery process.
