Citizens Memorial Hospital is a 74-bed acute care hospital that offers an extensive list of patient services. We uphold one basic principle: all patients, regardless of their physical or mental condition, will be treated with dignity and respect. This underlying philosophy requires a committed and caring staff.

We strive to make each healthcare experience warm and personal. Our goal is to provide comprehensive healthcare services, by skilled physicians and caring staff in exceptional facilities, to enhance the quality of life for you and your loved ones.

Citizens Memorial Hospital offers financial assistance to those that qualify.  Click here to download the application.  Low income and/or uninsured patients can take advantage of available discounts if they qualify. Visiting Hours General hospital visiting hours are from 2 p.m.- 8 p.m. daily. Specialized units, such as the intensive care unit and the Parkview Geriatric Wellness Center, have restricted visiting hours posted in each of their waiting areas. In the Birth Place, fathers, siblings and grandparents are welcome to visit any time between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Gift Shop Our gift shop, staffed by volunteers, has gift items, jewelry, greeting cards, toiletries, flowers and plants. To contact us, call (417) 326-0417.

Hours of operation:
Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Directions

From Kansas City (North):

Take Hwy 13 S and turn east (left) at the first Bolivar exit, Hwy 32/Broadway. Stay on Hwy 32/Broadway and turn north (left) on N. Oakland Ave. Follow N. Oakland Ave all the way to the hospital.

From the Springfield (south):

Take Hwy 13 N and take the third Bolivar exit, Hwy 32/Broadway, east (right). Continue on Hwy 32/Broadway and turn north (left)on N. Oakland Ave. Stay on N. Oakland Ave until you get to the hospital.
