We are currently looking to add physicians in the following specialties:

Hospitalist:

CMH is currently looking to expand the number of full-time hospitalist positions in its hospitalist program.  CMH is a 74-bed acute care hospital.  The position offers flexible scheduling in a great working environment.  Hospitalists average approximately 12 patient contacts a day. 

Family Practice:

We are looking for physicians for our Dallas County and Ash Grove clinics.  Both clinics are located in NHSC services areas and the physicians may qualify for loan repayment under that program. 

The Dallas County clinic is located in Buffalo, Missouri.  Buffalo is located 18 miles east of Bolivar and 30 miles northeast of Springfield.  We are seeking to fill a vacancy that will be created this summer.  There is one other physician and two nurse practitioners at the clinic.  The clinic has a high volume and we are seeking someone to step into this established practice.  The ideal candidate will do inpatient, outpatient, ob and nursing home rounds.  The physicians at the clinic have historically performed many procedures, including colonoscopy, LEEP, skin lesion removal, suturing, joint injections, circumcisions, NSTs, and vasectomies. 

The second opportunity is in Ash Grove, Missouri (population 1430).  Ash Grove is located approximately 17 miles northwest of Springfield, Missouri (population 150,000 in the city, 430,000 in the metropolitan area).  The clinic is adjacent to a long term care facility and a pharmacy.  The community supports the clinic and there is a lot of potential for growth in the patient volume.  The physician would not be required to do inpatient medicine, but the opportunity to do nursing home rounds is available.

General Surgery:

Come and join a busy and growing practice in a newly constructed surgical center.  We currently have two full-time and one part-time general surgeons.  Their practice is primarily bread and butter type procedures, and there is an excellent opportunity to expand to more difficult procedures. 

The current procedures include:

• General surgery
• Diagnostic evaluation and operative therapy of urgent and general surgical problems
• Minimally invasive surgery
• Thyroid
• Vascular
• Hemorrhoid treatment
• Gallbladder removal
• Bowel resection
• Hernia repair
• Anti-reflux surgery
• Breast conservation
• Bowel and colon resection

Dermatology:

CMH is recruiting a full-time dermatologist. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a dermatology program. Currently there are no dermatologists in Bolivar and there is a three to four month wait time to get an appointment in a neighboring metro area. The office will be located in Bolivar. Contracting options include employment or independent status with an income guarantee.

Internal Medicine:

We would like to establish a new internal medicine clinic as part of the CMH system.  The office where we would like to place an internal medicine doctor is located on the hospital campus.  We would like for the doctor to have an inpatient and outpatient practice.  This will be a newly created opportunity, so the physician will have the opportunity to help administration choose your partner and develop protocols.
