Wanted: High School Students
Do you know of a high school student whose passion is helping others? Are they interested in a career in the medical field? We have a place for them THIS SUMMER at CMH!
The Junior Volunteer program benefits students who are 15 years of age or older, carrying a B+ or higher GPA on their transcript. Junior volunteers are required to work one shift per week, and hours per shift are dependent upon the department in which the student is working. The program runs June – August. All junior volunteers have the opportunity to go “behind the scenes” with CMH employees and experience different aspects of the organization, including (but not limited to): radiology, sports medicine, guest relations, social services, transitional and long term care, pediatric and adult rehabilitation, geriatric wellness, and nursing. Many students seeking careers in the medical field need this experience as part of their post-secondary education application process.
